My Redneck Scraproom

I came across a terrific post about organizing the other night at Artful Musings. I'll be the first to tell you that Susan takes organization much more seriously than I do! I admire that in other people, but it's not quite my thing.

Susan was telling us about fiber storage. Here's what mine looked like!

And now....

See I'm chea frugal. If you look closely you can see that I edged the bottom, now tops, of the baggies with a border of pink duct tape. I punched a couple holes in each one and held them together with binder rings.

My fibers are just stuffed in, not nearly as pretty as Susan's; but it will work for me. I can take a fiber out and not have it tangle with all the others.

If all my things were tucked in cupboards and, my Scrap Cave was neat and tidy it would cost me a fortune! If I can't see it, I might as well not have it. Joanne's and Michael's employees would all know me on a first name basis!

Isn't it great that everyone shares their ideas? It's like a whole big brainstorming community. What works for one, may not work for another, but it may give them an idea that will. Got a great idea you'd like to share? Let me know!!

Happy Saturday!

Thank you for visiting my blog and I'm so glad I inspired you to organize your fibers! I like that you used what you had and came up with something you will use. I noticed you are doing the art journal challenge with Julie - how's it going? I'm enjoying it so much.

Thanks Susan. I've been a fan of Julie's for quite some time. I'm very exited about the challenge. So many talented people participating. I'm hoping some of it will rub off.
