Our lesson this week was to make a minibook of quotes. One of the things I've always disliked is my handwriting. It's not the same from day to day. Heck sometimes it's not the same from sentence to sentence. But it's mine.
Neither of my parents had great handwriting either, but when I found a card that Dad gave to Mom, it brought me to tears. Who knows if my handwriting will ever bring that kind of emotion to one of my kids or grandkids.
I do know it won't happen if I don't write! So what the heck. I'm doing this for fun, so I jumped in with both feet. I totally messed up one of the pages...ok...so it's not supposed to be perfect, but it shouldn't be a disaster either. I just slapped some black paint over what I had written, got out my white pen, and kept on going.
Karenika is an amazing photographer, and has 2 of the most adorable boys on earth. Stop over and look at some of her work. And check out Big Picture Scrapbooking They offer all kinds of classes, you may find one that's just for you!
Here's my mini album. It was lots of fun to make
